Case Study: Mountain Resort Real Estate

Copper Mountain Resort is one of the favorite ski and snowboard destinations of Colorado locals, given its close proximity to Denver and its wide variety of terrain. When Copper came to us to help sell their resort real estate online, we jumped at the chance to work with a great local brand.

Like the "5-Week Scramble" case study, we had a very limited timeframe - 7 weeks - to strategize, design, and develop a website from scratch that aligned with the Copper brand messaging and provided key functionality for listing real estate offerings, capturing data, and giving visitors a wide range of information about the mountain and village.

The new, custom website launched complete with

Real estate broker tool enabling brokers to work directly with potential buyers in a one-on-one setting, sharing documents and information specific to their needs.

An interactive map tool that scales over time to show the progress of development at the resort - new buildings, new proposed changes to infrastructure, new shops and restaurants in the village, changes at the golf course, etc.

A real estate listings tool that allows users to search available real estate by a variety of filters (price, location, size, etc.), and also allows Copper real estate staff to add/edit/remove listings as they become available or sell.

A "Discover Copper" section with mountain web cameras, flash photo galleries, and history of the resort.

Full custom CMS for Copper staff to manage content throughout the website.

AND THE RESULTS...

We launched the new Copper Mountain Resort Real Estate website on time and under budget, and as a result our team went on to design and develop the resort real estate websites of other landmark ski resorts including Winter Park, Colorado and Mammoth Mountain, California.
